Charizard has been the most popular dragon-type Pokemon, but the anime series hints at the addition of another one - Dragonite. Dragonite makes its debut in the "Drake's Dragonite" episode of the anime series, being never featured before in the game or full-length movies.
This new creature belongs to the oldest Pokemon generation and was used by Trainer Drake in a battle against Ash and Pikachu. Ash wins, becoming an honored Orange League Champion.
Although Ash doesn't catch Dragonite in the anime, the game will change that. Dragonite may also appear in the ongoing Pokemon anime season and the upcoming Pokemon the Movie: Coco, exciting fans.
