We are currently in the process of exploring the most recent update and familiarizing ourselves with the new characters, as miHoYo readies a new event for all Genshin Impact players. This event commences in Mondstadt and will take you on a journey across the entire map.
The event will kick off on May 14th. From that day onwards, players can approach Gygax in Mondstadt and engage in conversation with him to receive an invitation. Windtrace offers participants the opportunity to earn more Primogems, Character XP materials, alongside specific items such as a namecard and Windtrace Coins. It will necessitate a different approach than usual: for instance, players are unable to engage in mini games with chosen partners or opponents, as the matching process is purely random. Therefore, prepare your language skills and be prepared to team up with unfamiliar players; isn't that the essence of online gaming?
Furthermore, not everyone will be eligible to participate. To fully engage in the event, players must have attained Rank 20 and gathered all the Statues of the Seven. Technically, having only one Statue is sufficient, but this will restrict access to only the areas where the statue has been obtained, with other regions unlocking as additional statues are acquired. To check your current standing, review the Contested Zone. You have until May 24th to locate and gather all the statues in order to take part in the Windtrace Event.
