Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Introduces 8 Fresh Tracks

When Nintendo introduced Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, they promised that players would eventually have access to 48 additional tracks across 12 cups. While this seemed like a big commitment, the company has delivered new content. On August 4, they introduced two new cups, each containing four tracks, some of which are new to the series.

The Nintendo Switch may have lacked content from older consoles initially, but as it continues to stay popular, beloved games and elements from previous consoles are making their way to the platform. This is evident in the tracks included in the Propeller Cup and Turnip Cup.

The Propeller Cup features four tracks, including a new track called Sky-High Sundae with a unicorn theme. Other tracks like Mushroom Gorge from Mario Kart Wii, Snow Land from Mario Kart Super Circuit, and Sydney Spring from Mario Kart Tour will also be familiar to fans.

The Turnip Cup, on the other hand, does not introduce any new tracks but brings back four tracks that fans have been missing. Tracks like New York Minute from Mario Kart Tour, Mario Circuit 3 from the SNES, Kalimari Desert from the N64, and Waluigi Pinball from the DS era are included.

The previous update with two cups was released on March 18, and this latest update is rated slightly higher. Two more updates are planned for 2023, accessible through the purchase of the Booster Course Pass or by subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Let's hope these updates continue to improve the gaming experience.
