New Nintendo Switch Firmware Update Introduces Bluetooth Audio and Additional Features

The latest major firmware update for Nintendo Switch - V.13.0.0 – is being released. This update may have some cosmetic changes like previous ones, but this time the console has some significant new features for its users to enjoy.

One of the most important new features is the addition of Bluetooth audio support. This means that Nintendo Switch owners can now connect their headphones, speakers, earbuds, and other audio devices wirelessly. The company had hesitated to add this feature before due to concerns about audio delay, but it seems they have now minimized it to an acceptable level. However, there are still some reported issues with audio delay when using certain Bluetooth models, and the update does not support Bluetooth microphones.

Another new feature is "Maintain Internet Connection in Sleep Mode," which allows the console to stay connected to the internet even when in sleep mode. Additionally, there is now an "Update Dock" feature that lets you update the dock firmware, but this only works with docks that have LAN ports.

The update also includes a new stick calibration method and fixes some bugs. It's great to see Nintendo providing its fans with new experiences. Share your thoughts on how these changes might enhance your gaming experience in the comments below.
