Suggestions for the upcoming leader of Everdale Valley

Everdale provides a variety of opportunities that are essential for anyone aspiring to be a leader. Leadership entails not only responsibilities but also a position of honor. If you are unsure about how to become a successful leader, this article is for you.

Details About Everdale’s Valleys

In order to join a valley, you must reach the 4th Study level and complete valley research. Since you play alongside 9 other people, you must strive to ensure your valley emerges victorious. The mechanics might seem familiar if you have played Clash of Clans before, where improving your valley is vital for success, similar to a Clan. Despite Everdale having a different theme from Vikings, you might notice some similarities.

There are three roles you can try in the game - a valley member, an elder, and a leader. The first player to join the game after the valley is created automatically becomes the leader. The top three players with the highest scores become elders. If the leader is one of them, there will be two remaining elders, while the rest are members.

Guide to Becoming a Leader in Everdale

Valleys are automatically generated in Everdale, meaning you cannot create your own valley and declare yourself a leader. To become more than an elder, you must learn new strategies, with currently only two methods available.

First Player to Join the Game

Becoming a leader does not require bravery or intelligence, only being the first to join. After a valley is created, ensure you join it promptly. You can request the current valley leader to send you back home so that you can wait in the lobby for a new valley. The only way to become a leader is to get kicked from your current valley. You can either request to leave peacefully or provoke the leader to kick you out.

Winning the Election

Not all leaders are tyrants; you can also become a leader by winning the vote and earning respect from your team. However, only elders can start the vote, and there may be multiple candidates for leader. Members will compare candidates and vote for a new leader within 24 hours. The player with the most votes at the end of the period will be chosen as the new leader. You can express your desire to lead and persuade others to vote for you by promising more opportunities.

Consider the following factors:

  • The system favors the current leader, so if two players receive an equal number of votes, the leader remains;
  • A player needs at least 5 votes to win. Once a participant reaches this threshold, the election ends;
  • If 10 votes are cast before 24 hours, the election concludes.

Choose Your Path

You can use any of the methods described above. While being kicked and waiting may seem more appealing than working hard to become an elder and initiate the voting process, the latter is a more trustworthy approach. Ultimately, the decision is yours. Over time in the game, you will have the chance to try both strategies. Share your experiences with others if you have attempted either method.
