Twitter will introduce its verification feature called Twitter Blue after the elections.

The Blue subscription has gained a lot of attention recently, particularly with Elon Musk's recent acquisition of Twitter. Although users were expecting the Blue subscription to be available sooner, it now appears that it will not be released until after November 9th.

According to a report from The New York Times, the launch of the new Blue subscription has been delayed until after the United States elections. The reason for this decision is unclear, but it is possible that the company requires additional time to prepare for the launch.

Twitter introduced its Twitter Blue subscription, priced at $7.99 per month, not long ago. Some of the features that subscribers will enjoy with Twitter Blue include the ability to share longer videos, a priority ranking, and reduced advertisements. The most discussed feature is the verification badge.

Previously, the blue verification badge was only visible next to the names of a select few individuals. With Elon Musk now leading Twitter, any Twitter Blue subscriber will have the opportunity to obtain this verification badge on their accounts.

Concerns have been raised about the possibility that certain individuals could create fake accounts now that the verification badges are more accessible. Previously, verification badges were only granted to noteworthy individuals who had been verified by Twitter. It is currently unclear how the company plans to address issues related to impersonation.
